Shipping and delivery
Last updated 22 August 2026
Nothing is shipping yet. AURVIZ o1 smartglasses are production-ready. A preorder reserves a unit from a confirmed production run; it does not put a parcel in the post this week.
We expect to deliver in Q4 2026 (October to December 2026). Read the next-but-one section before you rely on that date.
Where we ship
Anywhere in India. We deliver to every state and union territory. We do not ship outside India, and we cannot accept a preorder for delivery to an address outside India.
Delivery depends on our courier being able to reach your PIN code. A small number of PIN codes are not serviceable by any carrier we can use; if yours turns out to be one of them we will tell you and refund you in full rather than leave the order open.
If you preorder from outside India, we will contact you and refund you in full.
When we expect to ship
Our current expectation is Q4 2026 (October to December 2026).
That is an expectation, not a commitment, and we would rather say so than quietly miss a date. Hardware schedules move for reasons that are not always visible in advance: certification, component supply, a revision that turns out to be necessary. If the date moves we will email everyone holding a preorder and tell you the new one and why.
If a delay is not acceptable to you, cancel and take your money back. See the cancellation and refunds policy.
Shipping cost and taxes
Shipping is free, anywhere in India. There is no delivery charge at preorder, at dispatch, or on arrival.
The ₹24,999 preorder price (the ₹4,999 booking amount plus the ₹20,000 balance) is inclusive of all applicable taxes and of delivery. ₹24,999 is the whole of what you pay us.
Your delivery address
We ask for it when you preorder, so that your unit can be packed the day it is built rather than waiting on a round of emails.
Q4 2026 is months away and people move. If your address changes before then, email hello@aurviz.com and we will update it. We will ask you to confirm it before anything is dispatched either way. Keeping it correct is ultimately your responsibility.
Free shipping covers the first delivery attempt. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody could take delivery, we will re-send it and may ask you to cover that second attempt.
What we do with it
Your name, address and phone number are used to deliver your order and for nothing else. We pass them to the courier carrying your parcel, because that is how a parcel gets carried. We do not sell them, rent them, or hand them to anyone else, and we do not use your phone number for marketing.
Payment details never reach us at all. Those go straight to Razorpay. Ask us to correct or delete what we hold and we will; the only thing we may have to keep is whatever a tax record requires.
Risk of loss or damage in transit
Your unit is our risk until it reaches you or whoever you nominate to take delivery. Section 26 of the Sale of Goods Act, 1930 would otherwise pass that risk to you earlier; we are agreeing to keep it, which is the more protective of the two. If a parcel is lost, damaged or tampered with on the way, that is ours to put right and we replace it at no cost to you.
Packaging and labelling
Every unit will be dispatched in packaging carrying the declarations the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 require: the maximum retail price inclusive of all taxes, the net quantity, the name and address of the manufacturer and packer, the month and year of manufacture, the country of origin, and a customer care contact.
The BIS registration number and Standard Mark for AURVIZ o1 will be printed on the product and its packaging, as the Compulsory Registration Scheme requires for this category of electronics.
Dispatch, tracking and damage
- You will get a dispatch email with a tracking number when your unit leaves us.
- Delivery is by a third-party courier. Once a parcel is with them, their timescales apply.
- If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and the product. We will replace it.
- If a tracked parcel is marked delivered and you do not have it, tell us within 7 days and we will open an investigation with the courier.
Your old device, if you want rid of it
If you would like to dispose of an old electronic device responsibly when your AURVIZ o1 arrives, tell us at the time of delivery and we will arrange collection through an authorised e-waste recycler at no cost to you. That is part of our producer responsibility under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, and it is easier for you than finding a recycler yourself.
