Terms and conditions

Last updated 22 August 2026

These terms cover a preorder: a reservation for a product that is not finished and is not in stock. They are not the terms of an ordinary sale.

Two things differ from a normal purchase, and both are worth reading before you pay: what a preorder actually commits you to (section 3), and the fact that the price is paid in two parts: ₹4,999 today and a ₹20,000 balance before dispatch (section 4).

Who you are contracting with

AURVIZ is a brand of Neurodrishti Private Limited. When you preorder, your contract is with that company.

In these terms, "AURVIZ", "we" and "us" mean Neurodrishti Private Limited. "You" means the person placing a preorder.

Who can place an order

You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to place the order instead.

Using this site

You may read this site and place a preorder through it. You may not attempt to interfere with it, extract data from it by automated means beyond ordinary search indexing, or use our name, logo, copy, photography or product designs without written permission.

Everything on this site is provided as it stands. Product images, renders and specifications describe the AURVIZ o1 as currently designed and are illustrative rather than binding.

What a preorder is

This is the part that differs most from a normal purchase, so it is set out plainly:

  • The design is finalised and the product is production-ready. You are reserving a unit from a confirmed production run, ahead of general retail availability.
  • There is no guaranteed delivery date. Our current expectation is Q4 2026 (October to December 2026), and hardware timelines move. We will tell you when it does.
  • The final specification may change. Components, finish, materials, weight, battery life and software features may all differ from what is described today. If a change is one we think you would object to, we will tell you before we ship and you may cancel for a full refund.
  • You may cancel at any time before dispatch and get all of your money back. See the cancellation and refunds policy.
  • If we cannot deliver, you get a full refund. If the product is cancelled, indefinitely delayed or never ships, we refund every preorder in full. We do not keep the money.

Price and payment

AURVIZ o1 smartglasses will sell for ₹29,999. Preorder customers pay ₹24,999, a saving of ₹5,000 (about 17%), available only before general release.

You pay that ₹24,999 in two parts. This is the single most important thing on this page, so it is a table rather than a sentence:

Today
₹4,999, the booking amount, charged when you place the preorder.
Before dispatch
₹20,000, the balance. We will email you when it falls due, and your unit is not dispatched until it is paid.
Total
₹24,999, inclusive of all applicable taxes. There is nothing further to pay.

If you decide not to pay the balance, that is a cancellation: we cancel the preorder and refund your ₹4,999 in full. The booking amount is not forfeited, and there is no penalty for changing your mind.

The ₹24,999 preorder price is held for you from the moment the booking amount is paid. If the full price changes before dispatch, yours does not.

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We do not see, handle or store your card, UPI or bank details at any point; those go directly to Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your email address.

If a payment is charged to you but does not register with us, contact us with the payment reference and we will trace it. Do not pay twice.

Delivery

We deliver anywhere in India, and nowhere outside it. Our current expectation is delivery in Q4 2026 (October to December 2026), an expectation, not a commitment, for the reasons in section 3. Shipping, timelines and delivery areas are covered in the shipping and delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.

A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued for both the booking amount and the balance, as required by section 31 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator. We do not see, handle or store your card, UPI or bank details; those go straight to Razorpay. If money leaves your account but the order does not appear, email us the payment reference rather than paying again.

Warranty

AURVIZ o1 smartglasses carry a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

It runs from the day your unit is delivered, not from the day you paid. That distinction matters on a preorder: you may pay months before anything is dispatched, and a warranty counted from payment would spend a third of itself before you had the product in your hands. Yours does not start until the parcel does.

What it covers

Anything that fails because of how the product was made rather than how it was used: electronics, optics, hinges, the frame, the fit and finish. That includes a battery that fails or will not hold a charge as it should.

If something covered fails, we repair it or replace it, whichever is appropriate. We pay the shipping in both directions. A repaired or replaced unit carries the remainder of the original year, or 90 days, whichever is longer.

What it does not cover

  • Accidental damage. Drops, impacts, crushing, liquid: anything that happened to the product rather than went wrong inside it.
  • Cosmetic wear. Scratches, scuffs and marks that come from using a thing you wear on your face.
  • Gradual battery capacity loss. Every lithium battery holds a little less each year. That is the chemistry working normally, not a defect. A battery that fails outright, or that degrades far faster than it should, is covered.
  • Work done by anyone else. Opening, modifying or having the product repaired by a third party ends the warranty on whatever was touched.
  • Loss and theft. A warranty is not insurance.

How to claim

Email hello@aurviz.com with your order reference and a description of the fault. We will arrange collection at our cost.

This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and does not replace them.

A fault found in the first 15 days is a return rather than a warranty claim. The difference is what you get: inside 15 days a faulty product is refunded or replaced, and for the rest of the year it is repaired or replaced. We pay the shipping either way, and you do not have to work out which applies. Tell us what is wrong and we will.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them, including the implied conditions under sections 12 to 16 of the Sale of Goods Act, 1930 that goods match their description, are of merchantable quality and are reasonably fit for their purpose, and your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be contracted out of. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a preorder is limited to the amount you paid us.

That limit does not apply to, and nothing in these terms excludes or limits, our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for anything that cannot lawfully be limited under Indian law, or for product liability under Chapter VI of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which applies in full regardless of this clause.

AURVIZ o1 smartglasses are a consumer electronics product. They are not a medical device, not a safety device, and not a substitute for attention to your surroundings.

Recording, privacy and the law where you are

The product includes cameras and microphones. Laws on recording people, and on recording conversations, vary by state, and in some places require the consent of everyone present. Complying with the law where you use the product is your responsibility.

How we handle your own data is described in our privacy policy.

Product safety and certification

AURVIZ o1 falls within the Bureau of Indian Standards Compulsory Registration Scheme for electronic goods. No unit will be dispatched before that registration is in place, and the BIS Standard Mark and registration number will be printed on the product and its packaging as the scheme requires.

Repairs and spare parts

In line with the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Right to Repair framework, we will keep spare parts, repair documentation and authorised repair support available for at least three years after we stop selling this model, so a working unit does not become unrepairable simply because we have moved on to a newer one.

Indemnity

You agree to hold AURVIZ harmless against any claim, loss or liability arising from your unlawful use of the product, including recording a person or a conversation without the consent the law where you are requires, or from a breach of the eligibility clause above.

Events outside our control

Neither of us is liable for a delay or failure caused by something beyond reasonable control: natural disaster, war, pandemic, government action, or a significant failure of a supplier, carrier or utility. If such an event delays your order we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can, and if the delay is unacceptable to you, you may cancel for a full refund.

Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the grievance officer for Neurodrishti Private Limited is:

Name
Mr Ashwani Yadav, Grievance Officer
Email
ashwani@aurviz.com
Address
1st floor, DMS, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi 110016, Delhi, India

We will acknowledge any complaint within 48 hours of receiving it, and resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate to the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, file through the government’s e-Daakhil portal, or go to the consumer forum with jurisdiction over where you live. You may do any of those before or instead of contacting us, not only after.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your preorder is the one published when you placed it, and we will email you about any change that affects an order already placed.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. These terms and the policies they reference are the whole of the agreement between us for your order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing here limits your right to go to the District, State or National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with jurisdiction over where you live, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

For any other claim, the courts at New Delhi and the courts where you live in India both have jurisdiction, and you may choose either. This used to name New Delhi as the only forum, which asked a buyer anywhere else in the country to travel to sue us.
